Thought it would be fun to throw in a little bit of humor with my "anti cleanse" posts.
Oh no, this was just a taste. This morning I happily CHEWED a parfait of Greek yogurt, strawberries, bananas, walnuts, and ground flaxseed for breakfast.
Hi Andy, I tried the Master Cleanse once (just once!) and don't claim to have received any miraculous benefit from it. However, I will say that the experience of going without meals and my usual food routines was extremely confrontational. What! No morning coffee! What! No wine before dinner -- and no dinner! Wait! No midday meal to break my work hours? No snack? It provided me with an opportunity to examine my eating in a pretty dramatic way. For that reason alone, I think trying a fast once isn't such a bad idea.
I am all for examining and evaluating food intake, but I think keeping a detailed and accurate food diary for a few days (say, 3) can be just as illuminating without subsisting on liquids all day.
I just don't see any real educational value in forgoing food.
lol... love it! Are you going to actually try doing the whole cleanse? Or are you just tasting it?

How long did you do the "cleanse" for?
