Numbers Game: Answer

A single Klondike bar provides 65 percent of the recommended daily saturated fat intake.

That's 13 whooping grams of artery-clogging and cholesterol-raising saturated fat. A Big Mac has more than twice the calories (540 versus Klondike's 250) but less saturated fat (10 grams, or 50% of the recommended maximum).

Thanks for your site. It's helped me to understand what some foods actually do to your body, and not just that I should avoid them (calcium phosphate and high fructose syrup especially!) So my question is...what is it about alcohol that makes it so bad for you? Especially looking from a weight-loss perspective, am I better off eating the cheeseburger, or drinking the four beers (for example)?
